Chris Hemsworth starrer Extraction, produced by Avengers: Endgame directors Joe and Anthony Russo is one of the most highly anticipated films of the year. A large part of the film has been shot in India, and also features several Indian actors such as Pankaj Tripathi and Randeep Hooda. Now, the streaming entertainment service launched the trailer exclusively through a YouTube Premiere on the Netflix India YouTube channel, giving you a glimpse into the high octane action-packed Netflix thriller. Extraction traces the journey of Tyler Rake who is a fearless black market mercenary with nothing left to lose when his skills are solicited to rescue the kidnapped son of an imprisoned international crime lord. But in the murky underworld of weapons dealers and drug traffickers, an already deadly mission approaches the impossible, forever altering the lives of Rake and the boy. The visuals are a cinematic treat right from the very beginning of the trailer as Chris takes a dive into a water body, and meditates underwater. The trailer is a delight for every action fan out there, full of marvelous high octane scenes, shootouts and much more, with some brilliant performances.

Apart from Chris Hemsworth, Extraction also stars David Harbour, Golshifteh Farahani, and Indian actors Priyanshu Painyulli, Randeep Hooda, Rudraksh Jaiswal and Pankaj Tripathi. An action-packed thriller directed by Sam Hargrave, Extraction is an AGBO Films and TGIM Films, Inc. production, produced by Joe Russo, Anthony Russo, Mike Larocca, Chris Hemsworth, Eric Gitter, and Peter Schwerin. The film was shot in Ahmedabad and Mumbai. It will premiere on April 24, on Netflix.
Meanwhile, Chris Hemsworth had to cancel his trip to India for the promotion of Extraction, but he did share a special message for his Indian fans, and asked them to keep an eye out for the trailer. He said, “As you may have heard, I was incredibly excited to come to India and to celebrate this movie where it was filmed. My time in your country during production was unforgettable and I was so looking forward to returning. But, you know all that's happening in the world at the moment, I, like you, am staying home. I know things are not easy right now for everyone, so I wanted to share something I hope you'll enjoy.”
