Amazon Original Series Paatal Lok: Anushka Sharma Unveils First Look Of Her Production's Debut Web Show And It's Intriguing AF
The first glimpse of Anushka Sharma’s debut OTT production show Paatal Lok is out now and it’s sure to leave you wanting more of it, take look
Powerhouse performer Anushka Sharma has finally ventured into the digital world; however, as a producer. Taking to her Instagram account, the actress, along with Amazon Prime Video, unveiled the first glimpse of her upcoming web series titled Paatal Lok. The drama thriller has been produced by Clean Slate Films, which belongs to Sharma. The video gives us a peek into a seemingly peaceful world that nurses a dormant, dark and dangerous underbelly – Paatal Lok. The show is slated to stream on May 15, 2020.
Coupled with a foreboding narration, the video casts a spotlight on the darker side of humanity. Filled with mystique, thrill and drama, Amazon Prime Video’s latest Original explores the dark bylanes of immorality. Inspired by the ancient realms of Swargalok (heaven), Dharti Lok (earth), and Patal Lok (netherworld), the neo-noir series delves into the interplay within the four estates of democracy. “From the underbelly comes a crime thriller that will change how you look at the world you live in. #PaatalLok #NewSeriesOnPrime, May 15,” wrote Sharma as she shared the logo.
The riveting thriller stars Jaideep Ahlawat, Gul Panag, Swastika Mukherjee and Abhishek Banerjee among others in the lead roles. The promo looks every bit intense with even intense background music.

On the work front, Anushka Sharma was last seen in 2018’s Zero that also starred Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. The film turned out to be a dud at the box-office and didn’t get exceptional reviews either. Ever since then, Anushka is on a sabbatical but fans eagerly wait to see more of her on the big screen.
