Multi-Grammy award winner Adele recently split from her husband Simon Konecki in April 2019 after being together for 8 years. A judge recently ruled that all the details of the divorce settlement of around 140 million pounds (approx 171 million dollars) will be kept a secret, according to The Sun. The couple did not have a prenup in place. A lot of news reports stated that Adele had requested the settlement to be private and the request was approved by a court in Los Angeles. The couple has a son named Angelo James who is 7 years old and they have amicably decided to share his custody.
A source told The Sun, “Hollywood divorces can drag on for years and become extremely ugly. Adele and Simon clearly don’t want that. They are both committed to keeping the details as private as possible for the sake of their son. They are trying to work out their issues.”It has also been reported by The Sun that the details of the settlement including ‘financial, sales or other confidential business information’ will be confidential and anyone with access to the information will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement. As per reports, Adele also allegedly gave Simon a house close to her own mansion in Beverly Hills.
Recently the singer revealed her dramatic weight loss to the public via social media. The singer has also reportedly been linked to UK Grime artist, Skepta.
It was in April 2019 that Adele and Simon Konecki had separated, and Adele’s rep had said in a statement that the two are committed to raising their son Angelo together lovingly.
