A huge name with massive fan followers, wrestler-actor and WWE Star Dwayne Johnson revealed that he battled with depression after he failed to be on the National football team in his growing up days. The actor poured his heart out while he was in conversation with Sport Bible in recent times

Dwayne Johnson is a big name now! Tasting fame and success beginning with his wrestling career and then following into the glamour business by soaking his feet in the acting and producing films, the wrestler –actor confessed about battling depression in his early days. Always desiring to play for the National Football League and making a lucrative career out of it; however, his dreams were shattered as he could never make to the elite level of the team. Thus, leaving him heartbroken and battling with depression.

In conversation with Sport Bible, he just poured his heart out and spoke about his heartbreaking reality. He said, “Not only did I play for a college football team, at that time I played for the best college football team in the country, the University of Miami. We were national champions. And the number one goal was to play in the NFL, the National Football League, and that did not happen for me. That was hard. It was a hard kick in the gut. Going ahead he shared a video clip of the interview on his Twitter handle and wrote, “On press junkets, I rarely get to speak this candidly & reflective on life’s experiences - successes and more importantly, my failures.
