All the Wonder Woman fans, rejoice! The sequel to this DC Comics’ much-loved outing, centred by Israeli actress Gal Gadot is all set to hit the big screens soon. And much to fans’ delight, the actress recently took to her social media and treated fans with a power-packed teaser of the sequel to Wonder Woman and, oh boy, it’s all about the ferocious Gal Gadot kicking all the badasses! The clip of WW84 shows the Wonder Woman embarking on a mission, as she flies around in her lasso. The sequel that is set in the past period appears to be based in a similar premise as the first instalment. Other than Gal Gadot’s power-packed action and a raunchy Wonder Woman avatar, it’s the clip’s background music that syncs with the plot and keeps us hooked. “The first teaser is out! Stay tuned for the full trailer tomorrow!! Here we go...!!! #WW84 @WonderWomanFilm” wrote Gal in her caption.

Wonder Woman 1984 has been helmed by Patty Jenkins, who had also directed the first part in 2017. Interestingly, the first Wonder Woman had emerged as the highest-grossing film of summer 2017, as it raked in a whopping $412.5 million in the US and $821.8 million worldwide. Wonder Woman 1984 will see Gadot reprising the role of an Amazonian Princess and is based in the early 1980s during the Cold War between the US and then-Soviet Union. It is slated to release on June 5, 2020.
