Singer Beyoncé Tests For Coronavirus After Funding A Testing Centre In Hometown, Houston
Amid the Coronavirus outbreak, everyone is making it a point to follow all the precautions and guidelines to stay safe from the deadly virus. Celebrities, too, are getting tested to be at the safer side. One such case is that of pop star Beyoncé and her family, who, along with her family, got tested recently and now, her mother Tina Knowles Lawson has spilt the beans on her results. As per Tina, Beyoncé has tested negative for COVID-19 and can finally celebrate Mother’s Day with her.

It was during her appearance on Tamron Hall this week that Beyoncé's mother shared the relaxing news with everyone. She revealed the entire family got tested and results are negative. “We all got tested. We've gotten the results back and everybody is okay, and so I hope we can get together this Mother's Day and have dinner together—and I can actually touch them for real,” said the veteran. Knowles added how has been feeling particularly ‘sad’ on the weekends, as that’s when she usually gets to meet her grandchildren. She told the show’s host, "So on Sunday mornings, I got the blues."

The mother-daughter duo has paired up for a new campaign called #IDIDMYPART, which urges everyone in Houston to get tested for Coronavirus, in an attempt to slow its spreading.

Well, that’s not it. The iconic singer has also extended her contribution of a whopping $6 million through her BeyGOOD initiative, to offer support to essential services like food banks in cities across the United States of America.
