Global Citizen ambassador Priyanka Chopra, had recently jetted off to Switzerland to attend the annual meeting at World Economic Forum in Davos. Yesterday, she shared inside pictures and video clips of her speech at the WEF. In a firechat with other renowned global personalities, she addressed several social issues plaguing the world such as poverty, climate crisis and many others. Apart from this, she also dropped a big surprise and announced a global concert with Coldplay, Miley Cyrus, Billie Eilish and others!

While speaking to Bloomberg the actress revealed that Global Citizen, who has also hosted several concerts in India before, including the Coldplay concert in Mumbai back in 2016, and they are hosting a global concert in September this year. She said, “We are doing this thing which is called the Global Goal Live which is seven concerts in five continents at the same time on the same day which is on September 26, 2020. It is also the birth day of the Sustainable Development Goals. These concerts are going to have the most incredible talent from around the world participate."  She also revealed that this event will have no tickets, but instead fans will earn them by contributing in some way to society. The report also revealed that Coldplay, Miley Cyrus, Billie Eilish will be a part of this mega-concert. In her speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, Priyanka Chopra had said, “I want my kids to grow up in a world where the world leaders have listened to Greta’s generation, where the climate crisis is contained if not averted, where a woman’s ability to succeed is a basic human right and not based on geography or chance.”
