Actor-singer Hilary Duff, most famously known for playing the role of Lizzie McGuire in the show that ran from 2001-2004, finally tied the knot! Hilary, who shares a one-year-old daughter Banks, with singer-songwriter Matthew Koma, had been engaged to him since May this year. The two had been together for almost three years before they got engaged. Now, the actress has reportedly married her fiancé in an intimate backyard ceremony, as reported by TMZ. The couple got married over the weekend on December 21, however, the actress hasn’t shared pictures from her special day yet on social media.
An insider told JustJared that it was a love-fest and she was surrounded by her friends and family. “It was a love-fest – a small and intimate ceremony at her house with friends and family,” the source said. Among those present at the wedding, were Hilary’s older sister Haylie Duff and Hilary’s seven-year-old son, Luca- who she shares with her former husband, Mike Comrie. Neither Hilary nor Matthew Koma have confirmed this news or shared pictures from their special day. However, Hilary’s stylist Jessica Paster did share a snap of a bouquet and captioned it as, “Winter solstice ... a day of luv,” and we can only assume it’s from the wedding.
Hilary Duff had announced her pregnancy back in June 2018 with a post flaunting her bump and the caption read, “Guess what guys! @matthewkoma and I made a little princess of our own and we couldn’t be more excited!!!!!!” She is often sharing the most adorable pictures with her family, giving her fans a glimpse into her personal life. She was earlier married to professional hockey player Mike Comrie, but the two split in 2015.
