Amber Heard and Johnny Depp- The Pirates of the Caribbean star tied the knot with Heard in 2015 and went on divorce in 2017 after the Aquaman actress filed for it in 2016. The ex-spouses had an ugly divorce settlement with Amber Heard accusing Depp of domestic abuse. Amber Heard was awarded 7 million dollars with the ex-spouses signing an NDA about the proceedings and moved on. Jennifer Lopez and Cris Judd- It’s known to everyone now that singer-actress Jennifer Lopez has been married and divorced three times till now, but did you know her second marriage cost millions? Lopez went on to tie the knot with choreographer Cris Judd in 2001 and the ex-couple went on to divorce after a year of marriage. Although the exact settlement amount is not clear, according to E! News reports, it was worth 14 million dollars. The Hustlers actress is currently engaged to former baseball player Alex Rodriguez after about two years of dating.
Steven Spielberg and Amy Irvin – The famous filmmaker tied the knot for the first time in 1985 with ex-wife Amy Irvin. The ex-couple divorced in 1989 with the settlement being as much as 100 million dollars.
Guy Ritchie and Madonna- The Queen of Pop music, mother to seven wonderful kids, singer Madonna tied the knot with Guy Ritchie in 2000. Director James Cameron tied the knot with actress Linda Hamilton in 1997 and the ex-couple went on to divorce 18 months later. According to Forbes, Cameron went on to get 100 million dollars from his film Titanic’s earnings and in the divorce settlement; he had to give half of it to Hamilton. The ex-couple go on to be friends now.
Lionel Richie and Diane Alexander- The popular singer-songwriter married Diane Richie back in 1995 and they divorced in 2004. Lionel Richie tied the knot with backup dancer Diane Alexander and went on to have kids Miles Brockman Richie, and Sofia Richie. According to Forbes, after claiming for a monthly clothing allowance, budget, manicures, massages and other personal services, budget for plastic surgery, Diane settled for 20 million dollars finally.
