According to a report in New Idea’s latest issue, Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt are in talks to buy Double Island, an island situated off the coast of Australia. The report states that the couple is planning to buy the private island as they once spend New Year’s together in 2002. A source in the report revealed that the ex-spouses are discussing an impossibly good deal to purchase the island and this is a dream project for both of them. The insider also said that the ex-couple could renovate the currently-closed luxury resort on the island or go ahead and use it as a private party island.

While the supposed tipster reveals some details on how Aniston and Pitt plan on to turn the island into a combination of a private residence with resort capabilities, for starters, it’s all a hoax and totally silly. The ex-couple have spent time in many special places during their time together, and there is nothing so special about Double Island. Moving on, Gossipcop.com debunked the story and shed some light on the ex-couple buying a private island. A spokesperson qualified to speak on behalf of Aniston dismissed the story and called it ‘beyond stupid.’ The spokesperson said, “This is beyond stupid. She is not buying an island with Brad Pitt!”
