The parents of his girlfriend are secretly hoping that this romance doesn’t last long, reports Hollywood Life. “I think they’re just hoping this could all fizzle out,” reports the website while quoting a source close to the Crawfords.
“Kaia’s traveling and working constantly — how serious can (she and Davidson) get?” adds the report. The parents are convinced their prayers will be answered as they have conviction in their daughter, and they know that she has a “strong head on her shoulders.” What exactly is their worry and where does the strong dislike for Pete stem from? Well, it is said and Cindy and her husband aren’t too happy with Pete’s relationship diaries. He has had many brief and high-profile flings in the last one year, alone. He was dating and later engaged to singer Ariana Grande and even has her initials inked on one of his fingers. After the engagement was called off, Pete quickly moved on to date actress Kate Beckinsale, this affair or fling, didn’t last too long either.
He’s now dating Kaia Gerber, youngest lady he’s dated so far and naturally her parents are worried sick. Meanwhile, his reps had recently told Hollywood Life that Pete understands where the concerns stem from. “He knows how that puts him in a bad light when he starts dating someone new. He has been very fortunate to date high profile women and he is trying to find his one. Let’s not forget he wanted to get married to Ariana,” said the statement.
