The reunion which was impossible a few years ago seems to be kind of possible in the year 2020. Star couple Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston who parted ways in 2004, after Brad cheated on her by falling for his now ex-wife Angelina Jolie, has revealed asking for forgiveness years ago. As per a source close to the US Weekly, the actor had asked for Jen's forgiveness in the year 2016. The duo showed signs of reconciliation when the actor reached out to the actress when she lost her mother.
The source was quoted saying in the US Weekly, “Brad contacted Jen after her mom died, and she was touched that he knew what a difficult time it was. Brad wishes he’d handled the end of their marriage in a more thoughtful manner. He asked for Jen’s forgiveness a long time ago, and she gave it.” Since then their fans are keeping their fingers crossed and hoping for reconciliation. But chill guys, though there is a buzz of the two getting back by burying the hatchet, it is definitely in the capacity of friends and nothing more. In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Jennifer revealed the reason behind forgiving her ex. She said, “[I’m] a forgiving person. I absolutely am. I think it’s extremely important to forgive. Otherwise, it just builds up like toxic waste. There’s nothing worse than holding a grudge.”
She further added, “Listen, people can do unforgivable things, but you have to let it go and say, ‘Look, we’re all human beings.
