The trailer of Bombshell is been released which stars Nicole Kidman, Charlize Theron and Margot Robbie. The film is completely based on the 2016 Fox News scandal that rocked the American news market. It is also about women taking the charge on a field which is largely dominated by the men. Bombshell talks about the power-packed actors Nicole Kidman, Charlize Theron and Margot Robbie taking over the sexual harassment culture and the misogynist treatment meted out to the female employees at FOX news. The trailer gives a hint of the sexual harassment accusations that were levied against the owner of Fox News, Roger Ailes who passed away in 2017.
In the trailer, Ailes mouths a dialogue, "Nobody stops watching because of a conflict. They stop watching when there isn't one." However, this dialogue says what goes behind the cameras in a news publication. Hence, these three power women decide to take on the Fox News head Roger Ailes and the toxic atmosphere he had created in the network, leading to the downfall of the Fox News organization.
The war began when Nicole Aka Grentch files a lawsuit against Ailes for sexual harassment, followed by the newbie- Kayla aka Margot Robbie who just starts to understand the dirty games of a media house when Ailes sugarcoats it by asking her to prove her loyalty. And the last one is Megyn who is a renowned host at Fox also accuses Ailes of sexual harassment. Must say, just like the title of the film, the trailer lives up to it. Bombshell is expected to release this December.
