Every Marvel anxiously waited for the film Avengers: Endgame. The film garnered a lot of praise from fans and also collected a mammoth amount at the box-office. Although many MCU fans were deeply hurt as the film bid farewell to Robert Downey Jr’s character of Iron Man aka Tony Stark, Avengers: Endgame still managed to win hearts. On April 26, 2020, as Avengers: Endgame clocks a year since its release, the Russo brothers, directors Anthony and Joe Russo participated in a quarantine watch party and made major revelations. To mark the first anniversary of Avengers: Endgame’s release, directors Joe and Anthony Russo participated in a quarantine watch party hosted by Comicbook.com. The Russo brothers answered fan questions and went on to share intriguing and exciting trivia about the superhero saga.

Brie Larson’s first day as Captain Marvel- The Russo brothers shared a BTS video from the sets of the film where Brie Larson is spotted greeting Scarlett Johansson aka Black Widow and Chris Evans aka Captain America. The video features her first day on sets as Captain Marvel in MCU.


Ronin’s Tokyo is actually downtown Atlanta-  The Russo brothers revealed how downtown Atlanta was transformed into Tokyo for a scene where Natasha finds Hawkeye, aka assassin Ronin, in the lanes of Tokyo and shared a BTS video from the sets.


Thor drinking local Georgian beer called Tropicalia- Directors Anthony and Joe Russo disclosed that the crew was obsessed with a local Georgian beer called Tropicalia from a local brewery that they had to use it the film where Thor is spotted drinking shots at Asgardian refugees’ new home in Norway, New Asgard.


Captain America’s fight with himself in 2012 New York- The Russo brothers revealed that one of the most memorable scenes of Endgame is Captain America’s fight with himself in 2012 New York. The directors shared that the scene was shot with stunt director Sam Hargrave, fighting his own brother Daniel which the animation team later superimposed Chris Evans’s face in the scene.


When Russo brothers revealed to Chris Evans that he was going to wield Thor’s Mjolnir- Anthony and Joe Russo shared although Chris Evans knew that he’ll pick up Thor’s hammer, the directors revealed that the actor was psyched about it. They shared that the day they shot the scene, it was very exciting on the sets as most of the film’s crew were hardcore comic book lovers.


Last day of Iron Man and Captain America- The Russo brothers shared BTS videos from the last day of Robert Downey Jr and Chris Evans as Iron Man and Captain America from the sets of the film. The video will surely leave anyone teary-eyed.



Meanwhile, Avengers: Endgame released last year on April 26 and was a direct sequel of 2018 film Avengers: Infinity War. The Avengers: Endgame was the 22nd film of Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Infinity Saga that lasted for 10 years.
