Wendell Rodricks Demise: Throwback To The Time When The Designer Had Slammed Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's Stylist
The fashion industry has suffered a great loss as ace designer Wendell Rodricks is no more. The man who won a Padma Shri award for his contribution was known to style some of the most popular divas of tinsel town. Ace fashion designer Wendell Rodricks is no more. As per reports, the designer breathed his last in his Goa home. The cause of his death is still unknown. He was 59 when he left for his heavenly abode. Not a long time ago, Wendell was in news for criticising Priyanka Chopra's look for Grammys 2020. He had criticised the actor and her stylist for choosing a dress that had a neckline ranging to her navel. Well, earlier, Wendell had severely bashed Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her stylist for their Paris Fashion Week blunder.
Wendell Rodricks who used to give his opinions on various facets of the world of fashion had taken to Instagram to slam Aishwarya's pink floral high-low outfit that she paired with boots that had fringes. He had written, "@loreal you have one of the prettiest girls in the world and this is how you do her make up and dress her? Sack the stylist for this sack dress with a note that Halloween is next month."
Wendell Rodricks was a very well-known face in the Fashion industry and he had styled some of the most beautiful divas like Rekha, Sonam Kapoor, Kangana Ranaut and Deepika Padukone. His untimely death has definitely left many in shock. Stars like Neha Dhupia, Soni Razdan, Smriti Irani and others expressed grief on social media. Goa's Minister of Health Vishwajit Rane had tweeted and confirmed about his demise. "Deeply saddened to hear about the sudden demise of my very good friend and designer, Wendell Rodricks. His excellency in his work & skills are irreplaceable & shall always be cherished.We will truly miss him. My heartfelt condolences to his family & dear ones," he wrote.
