Taapsee Pannu Gives A KNOTTY Twist To The Red-And-White Saree; Bookmarked For Pujo Night
Last evening at the airport, Taapsee Pannu was spotted wearing a cool AF cotton saree, the white and red Korial, but there was a twist. She put together layers of soft cotton fabric with a fun red knot. We like!
Taapsee Pannu’s dressing style is casual meets comfortable. The lady’s looks spell conviction and she doesn’t look bothered or uncomfortable in them. It’s very my-wardrobe-my-rules and no-nonsense approach to dressing up – critics be damned! And that’s what we love about her. Last evening at the airport she was spotted wearing a cool AF cotton saree, white and red, and giving major pujo feels but there was a twist.
Her saree was put in place by a front knot in red. Her blouse also added a dash of sass to her look. We love the fusion of contemporary with classic. We love the confidence and panache she carries the look with. It’s not your usual airport look but she makes it work. Never thought you could give the classic red-and-white Bengali saree, also known as the Korial, such a fun twist. But the lady’s done it.
Talking about her work, the actress is in the thick of things with many movies lined-up for release, including the much-talked-about flick, Thappad. She’s also doing a biopic on the life of Indian cricket captain Mithali Raj.
Just yesterday, a new film announcement was dropped online – Hindi adaptation of the German flick Run Lola Run, titled Looop Lapeta.
Taapsee was recently honoured for her work in the film Saand Ki Aankh at the Filmfare Awards 2020 that took place in Guwahati.
