Umang 2020, Mumbai Police's annual charity event was organized last night and saw a host of celebrities in attendance. The fashion vibes of the nite were pretty average. While many of the divas chose to go Indian in sarees, a few opted for western outfits.
Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra draped sarees but their choices were quite different. Kat chose an off-white sheer saree with gotta patti border and mirror work by Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla while Priyanka Chopra opted for an electric blue benarsi silk saree by Masaba. Janhvi Kapoor also donned a bright red saree by Manish Malhotra with his signature strappy low-neck blouse. She kept her look very basic, with nude makeup and just tonged hair.
Ananya Panday was seen once again in a yellow lehenga-choli. Her hairdo was quite interesting as she tied a pony with braided details. Sara Ali Khan's red carpet avatar left us a bit confused. She seemed pretty in a white salwaar-suit but it was way too simple for a red carpet appearance. We have seen Sara dressed like this right after her Pilate classes too. Did she think since it's a charity event for the men in uniform, let's go basic and subtle? Nonetheless, she looked beautiful.
