When Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli announced their
wedding, last night, everyone was eagerly waiting to see their wedding
pictures.
Frankly, I thought to myself that Anushka would choose an
elegant bridal look as the actress usually doesn’t go flashy and bright in her
day to day wardrobe as well BUT never imagined that she will EXCEL
EXCEPTIONALLY with her bridal avatar.

Anushka ditched the reds and wore a pale pink embroidered
lehenga by Sabyasachi. She didn’t go overboard with her make-up, jewellery or
outfit.
The English colours, pastels, and the lush Tuscan
hydrangeas which decorated the bun,
gave an edge to her look.
Coming to her jewellery, her sets were heavy but not in
your face. Sometimes we see that bridal jewellery is all about diamonds or too
much gold. But here, Anushka chose uncut diamonds and blended some Japanese
pearls to balance it. My favourite here was the maathapati- stunning I say!
Anushka’s make-up was classy as a nude palette was used
to accentuate her beauty.
Lastly, I loved the fact that Anushka wore a simple black
dot bindi to add a touch of simplicity to her look.
This was by far the BEST BRIDAL look I have seen any
Bollywood actress don. Kudos to Mrs. Kohli!
