When Arjun Kapoor Had Refuted His Marriage Rumours With Girlfriend Malaika Arora, ‘I Am Not Getting Married’
Let’s take you into the flashback when Arjun Kapoor had rubbished his wedding rumours with girlfriend Malaika Arora and said he’s not getting married anytime soon.
Lovebirds of Bollywood Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora often make it to the headlines owing to their love–dovey comments and social media banter in each other’s comment section. After dating each other for some time, the duo made their relationship Insta official on Arjun’s birthday, on June 26, last year. Initially, Malla and Arjun kept their relationship under wraps but were later seen walking hand-in-hand at different parties and were also snapped at each other’s family functions. While the rumours of their wedding continue to do the rounds on social media, let’s take you into the flashback when Arjun had rubbished all the rumours and said he’s not getting married.
Refuting his wedding rumours, Arjun had then told PTI, “I am not getting married. If I am getting married I will speak about it openly. There is no reason for me to hide it. It is not something I can hide from people. If I am not hiding anything now, why will I hide my marriage? “I am working now, I am not in the zone to get married. I don’t care about what the world has to say. I think jumping the gun is silly.”
He had gone on to add how these speculations are a part of this profession and he has signed for it. He added, “Even if I say something, it is not necessary that people will stop writing. Speculation is a part of the profession. I have signed up for this and it comes with the territory. My personal life is not personal, it is public. “Media has been gracious and respectful, including paparazzi. There is a certain dignity and sanity being maintained and I would like to keep it that way.”
Malaika too had once labeled them as ‘silly speculations’. For the past one year there have been constant rumours of Arjun and Malaika to be the next celeb couple to get married.
