Due to the COVID-19, we didn't see a happy week to be honest. Lots of BAD AND UGLY things unfolded last week and pretty less of GOOD things happened. It's time to quickly classify the Good, Bad and Ugly events from the week gone by
Kanika Kapoor (BAD): A couple of days back, singer Kanika Kapoor was tested positive for COVID-19 after she returned from the UK. Reports suggest that the singer came in contact with nearly 162 people. She has even received immense backlash for not following the advisory post her return and not staying in quarantine.
Imtiaz Khan (BAD): Imtiaz Khan, brother of Amjad Khan passed away on March 17. He is survived by his actress-wife Krutika Desai and their 25-year-old daughter Ayesha. Post his sudden demise, we even spoke to his wife. May God give his family the strength to bear the loss.
Anup Jalota (GOOD): The Bhajan Samrat, Anup Jalota returned to Mumbai from Europe and was kept in quarantine at a Mumbai hotel. Well, fortunately, he has been tested negative for COVID-19. However, just like every responsible citizen, he would continue staying in self isolation.
Ranveer Singh (BAD): Sadly, the Coronavirus has also affected the film industry at large and Ranveer Singh’s upcoming flick 83 stands postponed. The film that was to release on April 10, is now on hold and the new release date is yet to be announced.
Akshay Kumar (BAD): Just like Ranveer Singh’s 83, even Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi that was to hit the big screens this Friday has been pushed ahead Mounted on a high budget, the film’s trailer packed in immense promise, but the makers have no choice and in this hour of crises, hold back their film’s release.
Varun Dhawan (BAD): Amidst the Coronavirus spread, Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal have called off their May wedding and are now looking at a mid-December date. Due to the travel concerns, the destination is yet to be finalized.
Puja Banerjee (BAD): Another wedding stands to be delayed and that is of Puja Banerjee and Kunal Verma who were to marry on April 15. Unfortunately, we hear that the couple has almost called of the wedding and are contemplating on a new date, looking at the current Coronavirus health scare.
Paras Chhabra-Dev Banerjee (GOOD): Paras Chhabra and Dev Banerjee who were once thick as thieves had a fallout and broke their friendship. When Paras was in the BB13 house, Dev went all out against him. However, the two have buried the hatchet and are back to being friends again. That’s indeed nice!
Shehnaaz Gill-Vikas Gupta (UGLY): During Bigg Boss 13, Vikas Gupta’s fondness for Shehnaaz was quite evident. But her stint in Mujhse Shaadi Karoge disappointed Gupta who wasn’t happy by the fact that despite harbouring feelings for Sidharth Shukla, Shehnaaz shouldn’t have been part of the Swayamvar show. This upset Gill and she walked out of the episode in a jiffy. In fact, she even unfollowed him on social media.
Jasleen Matharu (UGLY): Ex Bigg Boss contestant Jasleen Matharu’s father Kesar Matharu has received threats from an extortionist. If he fails to pay the asked amount, the extortionist would kill him and his family.
