Sushant Singh Rajput Suicide: 'I Am Not Well' Late Actor Had Messaged Mukesh Chhabra

Sushant Singh Rajput’s last film, Dil Bechara's director Mukesh Chhabra has recorded his statement in connection with actor’s suicide case. Reportedly, the casting director told police, Sushant had told him, ‘I am not well’

In connection with Sushant Singh Rajput's suicide case, Mumbai Police has recorded the statements of quite a few people, who were close to him, till now. As reported by us earlier, the list includes his 3 sisters, including the Mumbai based Priyanka Singh who was in the city when the news of his death broke, the keysmith who unlocked Sushant’s bedroom door, creative content manager and his friend Siddharth Pithani, housekeeper Deepesh Sawant, cook, co-star and close friend Mahesh Shetty. A while back, Rhea Chakraborty also reached Bandra police station to record her statement.

Sushant Singh Rajput’s last film, Dil Bechara's director and casting director Mukesh Chhabra too has recorded his statement. According to a report in ABPLive.com, Chhabra told Police that he had recently asked Sushant about his well-being, replying to which Sushant told Chhabra, “I am not well.” When he asked Sushant the reason, he replied saying, “I am fine, I will be fine.”
 
Tweeting about the same ANI wrote, “In connection with an accidental death case registered at Bandra Police Station in Sushant Singh Rajput suicide case, casting director Mukesh Chhabra's statement was recorded today. Chhabra told that he shared good relations with Rajput & he was a good actor: DCP Abhishek Trimukhe”


Mukesh Chhabra was amongst the early ones to arrive at the late actor’s home when news of his untimely demise broke out. The duo has been friends for a very long time. 


When Sushant Singh left for heavenly abode, Mukesh took to Insta to pay tribute to the actor. Sharing a picture with SSR, Mukesh Chhabra had written a heartbreaking note alongside. “Sushant was like a brother to me, it is so unfortunate and heartbreaking and I cannot even put it down in words. Sushant was an introvert but he was really intelligent and talented beyond words. The Industry has lost a gem, an irreplaceable gem. Deeply saddened and shocked. I still can’t believe it. Our endless conversations have come to an abrupt end.
