Rhea Chakraborty was in a live-in relationship with late Sushant Singh Rajput, however, she did not attend his funeral. Rhea made an appearance at Cooper Hospital where his mortal remains were taken for post-mortem, but she wasn't seen at the cremation ground. Well, that is because her name was struck off from the list of people attending Sushant Singh Rajput's funeral. Due to the lockdown, only 20 people were allowed to be at the cremation ground, and her name was struck off from the list, revealed her lawyer.

In a report by Hindustan Times, Rhea Chakraborty's lawyer Satish Maneshinde was quoted saying, "Rhea Chakraborty has always been living in Mumbai. She was in Mumbai on 14 June 2020. She was not allowed to attend the funeral of Sushant as her name was struck off from the list of 20." Earlier, we were the ones to tell you that Rhea Chakraborty was asked by Sushant Singh Rajput's family members to not be a part of his last rites. A source had shared that Sushant's family did not fancy Rhea and we had also learnt that none of the sisters of the Kai Po Che actor followed the Jalebi actress on social media. The sisters did follow Kriti Sanon though.

An FIR has been filed against Rhea Chakraborty by Sushant Singh Rajput's father. Sharing the details, Rhea's lawyer was also quoted saying, "Later, when the Bihar Police came to Mumbai to investigate the case on the basis of an FIR registered in Patna, Rhea approached the Supreme Court and filed a Transfer Petition on July 30 for transfer of the case to Mumbai in view of the legal position that a case registered beyond the jurisdiction of the local police station where the alleged incident has taken place can only record a ‘Zero FIR’ and transfer it for the investigation to Mumbai where the criminal law has already been set in motion. The Bihar Police has no jurisdiction to investigate the case legally and otherwise."
