Sushant Singh Rajput Demise: Sanjay Leela Bhansali Reaches Bandra Police Station To Record His Statement
It has been around three weeks since Sushant Singh Rajput left for his heavenly abode. The Kai Po Che actor was found hanging in his room. He reportedly took such a drastic due to his battle with depression. The police investigation in Sushant's death is underway. So far, more than 20 people, including the late actor's father, house staff, chartered accountant, manager, friends, rumoured girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and casting director Shanoo Sharma among others. Today, filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali, too, was spotted arriving at the Bandra police station to record his statement.

It has to be noted that Sanjay Leela Bhansali was supposed to work with Sushant in a few of his films; however, things didn't materialise due to date clashes and Sushant was replaced. A couple of pictures from the spot see the Padmaavat filmmaker arriving in his car. He was sporting a blue kurta and a mask on his face. Sanjay didn't give any media bytes and straightaway headed inside the police station. It is being reported that the police officer is also probing the 'professional rivalry' angle in Sushant's death investigation. There was a time when SLB was criticised for reportedly throwing Sushant off his films.

Check out SLB at the police station:

"Many people in the industry are expressing their grief and not many know that both Sushant Singh Rajput and Sanjay Leela Bhansali were quite fond of each other as well as their work. In fact, not once but 4 times working together was on the cards for them, SLB had offered him 4 films, but due to date issues, things didn’t materialise. As far as their equation is concerned, Sushant had taken quite a strong stand for SLB when the director was attacked in Jaipur and while Sushant condemned the violence he also dropped his surname ‘Rajput’ to show support to the filmmaker," said the source.
