Sushant Singh Rajput Demise: Mumbai Police To Investigate Why Late Actor’s Third Film With Yash Raj Films Never Took Off Despite A Contract
Mumbai Police is not leaving any stone unturned in terms of the investigation in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. As per reports in India TV, the officials in charge of this case have so far interrogated 23 people in connection with the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput belonging to his personal and professional circle. The cops are also trying to find out why the late actor’s 3rd film with well-known production banner Yash Raj Films never took off. A contract of the same deal signed by the actor was recently submitted by YRF and received by the police.

The cops are trying to find out why the actor and the banner never worked on their third film, was the late actor also upset due to it. While Sushant was seen in Shuddh Desi Romance opposite Vaani Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra released in 2013, his next venture with YRF Detective Byomkesh Bakshi hit the screens in 2015 directed by Dibakar Banerjee. However, his third film Paani to be helmed by Shekhar Kapur did not go on floors. As per reports, it was due to YRF withdrawing from the project as the production banner.

His last venture of his career Dil Bechara will be released on Disney+ Hotstar on July 24, 2020.  It will mark the acting debut of Sanjana Sanghi and directorial debut of casting director Mukesh Chhabra. Saif Ali Khan will be seen in a cameo in the film as well.
