Sushant Singh Rajput Death: Prayer Meet Held In Patna By The Late Actor’s Family In Memory Of Their Beloved Son
A prayer meeting was held in Patna for late actor Sushant Singh Rajput by his family. Pictures and videos from the prayer meet have surfaced on social media, and people from Sushant’s hometown visited the family and offered their condolences
Sushant Singh Rajput’s death on June 14 left the nation shocked. The film fraternity, his many fans are still reeling from the actor’s demise. Sushant was aged 34, and had given some brilliant performances in the films he starred, however, his journey was cut short as he died due to suicide. More than Sushant’s fans or friends from the film industry, it must have been an even bigger loss for his family members, and the pain they must be going through at this time is unfathomable. A prayer meeting was held in Patna for the late actor by his family, and pictures and videos from the same have now surfaced on social media.
Sushant Singh Rajput’s family hosted a prayer meet in the memory of the late actor and people from his hometown visited the family to offer their condolences. A picture from the prayer meeting that has emerged on social media shows a framed picture Sushant surrounded by white flowers. The video seems to have been taken from outside the room. Sushant hailed from Patna, and it was only last year that he visited his hometown and his ancestral home in Bihar, to fulfill his mother’s mannat for his mundan.
Meanwhile, investigation in Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide case is still going on. A few days ago, his rumoured girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty was interrogated by the Mumbai Police, and yesterday, Sushant’s friend Siddharth Pitani was also spotted at Bandra Police Station for his interrogation.
Sushant Singh Rajput’s last rites were performed on June 15 at the Pawan Hans crematorium in Mumbai. Apart from his family members, Shraddha Kapoor, Ekta Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Ranvir Shorey, Kriti Sanon, among others also attended the funeral. The late actor’s ashes were immersed in the Ganga river, in Patna, and his family members performed the rituals.
