Sushant Singh Rajput Death: Fans Trend #ImmediateCBIForSSR After Home Minister Anil Deshmukh Says 'No CBI Inquiry, Mumbai Police Is Enough’
It has been a month since Sushant Singh Rajput left for his heavenly abode after dying due to suicide. The police investigation for the same is going on in full swing with all his close associates getting summoned one by one. Fans, however, want a CBI interference in this matter as they feel it was a planned murder instead. From many days, social media is abuzz with several hashtags demanding the same. A lot of prominent personalities, too, have jumped on to the bandwagon and it includes politicians as well. The Home Minister of Maharashtra Anil Deshmukh, however, has stated the otherwise saying no CBI probe is needed in this matter and the police investigation is enough.

This hasn't gone down well with all the Sushant Singh Rajput fans, as they are now trending the hashtag #ImmediateCBIForSSR to express their disappointment. "Repeat after me, 'We will not stop fighting for Sushant until all his murderers get punished' We will fight for you  @itsSSR @AmitShahOffice  @PMOInd @CMOMaharashtra #ImmediateCBIForSSR," wrote a user, while someone else questioned, "How can they deny a valid family request for a CBI Enquiry? How can a political person give a statement of CBI Enquiry not needed before Police Investigation Reports arrive? Where are the set protocols, Aren't they being followed in Maha? @Swamy39 @AmitShah #ImmediateCBIForSSR."

 A fan also shared a screenshot of Sushant's recent comment to his trainer that read he can't wait to train with him. "Heee was not depressed !!!! On 5 june 2020 sushant replied said "can't wait  to train with you my brother  (Sushant was looking forward to get  trained with him ) Hee was not depressed 1000000000% sureee !! He had not suicide !!!!!!We want cbi nowww !! #ImmediateCBIForSSR."

For the unversed, HM Anil Deshmukh had said to Mid Day, “I have the tweets and the campaign. But I don’t think that a CBI probe is required. The Mumbai Police is competent enough to handle such cases and they are investigating every aspect of the case including professional rivalry. As of now, we do not see any foul play. Details of the investigation will be shared once it is completed."
