Almost a week before Sushant Singh Rajput ended his life by himself at his Bandra apartment, his former manager Disha Salian too had ended his life from allegedly jumping from her building in Malad, Mumbai. Soon after the news of SSR’s death made headlines, in no time it was connected to Disha’s tragic demise. While few said Sushant’s death is somehow connected to Disha’s, Mumbai Police in their investigation clearly stated that both the tragic demises are not at all connected. But SSR’s suicide case has opened a can of worms ever since his father KK Singh filed an FIR against girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty.

Now, here’s another twist in the tale. Sushant Singh Rajput’s close family friend Smita Parikh revealed, Sushant started getting anxiety attacks after Disha’s death. Smita revealed to Republic TV, that she learned this from his sister Mitu who was with Sushant that the actor was shocked and shattered after learning about Disha’s death that’s how he started getting anxiety attacks. He kept saying, "Ab Yeh Log Mujhe Nahi Chodenge." Thus giving rise to a suspicion that the actor knew something was wrong. Smith also revealed, “On 14th June, Sushant and her sister were going to have family time on Sunday afternoon. On the 13th night, his sister calls him he doesn’t pick up the phone, she texts him and he doesn’t reply, which is very unusual. In the morning, she calls Pithani and she asked him where is he and why is he not responding, and she’s been told that he just asked for juice and he went back and now he’s sleeping.”

Meanwhile, as per the latest development in the case, Enforcement Directorate has reportedly filed a money laundering case. According to a report in Hindustan Times ED will investigate if anyone used Sushant’s income for creating illegal assets.

The portal even carried a statement of Dr Sujay Kantawala, a senior lawyer who specialises in PMLA cases, which read: “When the Bihar police lodged the FIR, the provisions were of Indian Penal Code. Here you are presumed innocent and the burden of proof is on the prosecution to prove the charge. However, when the ED comes into the picture, there is a reverse burden of proof.
