Fatima Sana Shaikh is taking the experimental route. For her next the Dangal fame actress will be seen portraying the role of a Marathi mulgi in the movie titled Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari. Fatima Sana Shaikh, who shot to fame with her powerful performance in Dangal, will be seen as a Marathi mulgi in Abhishek Sharma’s upcoming directorial, Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari, a Zee Studios production that is currently being shot in various locations in Mumbai. The actor has trained extensively with a language coach on her Marathi diction to mould herself into her character. As per source the actress did several reading sessions with the director to get the nuances of  her onscreen character. 

A source informs, “Fatima did multiple readings with director Abhishek Sharma and worked on her body language to mould herself in the role before the film went on floor. She has completely transformed herself for the film, the audiences will be in for a real treat!” Speaking on why he chose Fatima for this character, Abhishek Sharma shares, “Her character has a dual personality for which we needed an actor who could play vulnerable, mysterious ad assertive with equal ease. Fatima is an excellent talent who has the quality to get into all these emotions at will.  She is extremely punctual, very involved and dedicated with her work. Her infectious enthusiasm keeps us all energized on the set!”

In the first look picture, Fatima is seen in a red saree, accessorizing her onscreen look with red bangles, neckpiece and earrings. With the little red bindi adding authentic touch to her look. While she looks away from the camera blushing; with a typical kitchen setting in the background.
