Yesterday, on the 4th of July, the United States of America observed its Independence Day, and several Bollywood celebrities who are living in the US took to their social media to share glimpses of how they celebrated the day. This day is celebrated with fireworks, family gatherings and much more. Sunny Leone spent some quality time with her family- hubby Daniel Weber and their kids- daughter Nisha and sons Noah and Asher- to celebrate the American Independence Day, and looks like they had a lot of fun.

Sunny Leone took to her Instagram and shared a video with the caption, “Happy 4th of July! Proud to be an American!! Mia familia.” The video first shows Sunny Leone, husband Daniel, as well as Nisha, Noah and Asher sticking their tongues out. The fun Independence Day filter on Instagram shows their tongues as well as their ears in red, white and blue of the American flag. It was in May that Sunny Leone and her family had flown to Los Angeles from Mumbai amid lockdown.

She had shared a post after flying to LA, and had mentioned that she felt they would be safer against the ‘invisible killer’ Coronavirus. She had written, “Both @dirrty99 and I had the opportunity to take our children where we felt they would be safer against this invisible killer “corona virus” Our home away from home and secret garden in Los Angeles.”


Sunny Leone, born in Canada, became an American citizen in 2006, but said that she planned to remain a dual citizen of Canada. In 2012, Sunny had announced that she was now a resident of India, and explained in an interview with The New Indian Express that she was an overseas citizen of India, having been eligible for it because her parents lived in India.
