It was two years ago, on this day, that the news of legendary actress Sridevi shocked one and all. One of the biggest stars of the Bollywood industry, Sridevi had passed away due to accidental drowning in her hotel’s bathtub in Dubai. It was a huge loss for the film industry and the veteran actress and her huge contribution to cinema is remembered even today. On her second death anniversary, Netizens as well as members from the film fraternity such as Sridevi, and Anil Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor, Sunita Kapoor, Manish Malhotra, Dabboo Ratnani remembered the late actress through heartfelt posts on social media.
Anil Kapoor took to his Instagram, and shared an emotional note that read, “Sri...2 years have gone by and we have missed you everyday...Reminiscing about old memories is a bittersweet feeling...We wish you had more time with the people you love, but we are thankful for all the time we did have with you...You are in our thoughts and prayers forever...” Anil Kapoor’s wife Sunita Kapoor also shared a photo with Sridevi, to remember the late actress. Sanjay Kapoor posted an adorable picture with Sridevi as he looked back at a fond memory from the past, and he captioned it with heart emojis.
Dabboo Ratnani also shared a picture of himself with Boney Kapoor and Sridevi, and in the caption, he wrote, “Remembering You #sridevi,” while Manish Malhotra shared a lovely picture of Sridevi on his Instagram handle.
Janhvi Kapoor also got emotional and remembered her mother with a throwback picture, and wrote, “Miss you everyday.”
