Sridevi Backs Off From Box-Office Clash, Now Ranbir Kapoor Will Go Up Against Saif Ali Khan & Shraddha Kapoor
Mom, Sridevi’s comeback vehicle will not hit theatres on July 14. Its release date has been brought forward to July 7
Jagga Jasoos, Chef and Haseena were set to clash at the
box-office with Sridevi's Mom on July 14. However, the veteran diva has
walked away from this face-off. Mom will now hit screens on July 7.

Sridevi starrer Mom's first look was released with a lot
of fan fare and the poster announced that the film will hit theatres on July
14. But then Ranbir Kapoor’s much-delayed Jagga Jassoos was once again pushed
and landed on the date. Plus there was Saif Ali Khan’s Chef and Shraddha
Kapoor’s Haseena which too had chosen July 14 as their release date.

The makers of Mom may have been looking for a way out of
this clash and the opportunity landed in their laps today.
Well, it so happened that Tiger Shroff's Munna Michael
was slated to hit screens onJuly 7 earlier. But this morning it was
announced that the film will be delayed and will release on July 21.

And the makers of Mom jumped at the opportunity.
Munna Michael, which also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and
Nidhhi Agerwal, will now clash at the box office with Ayushmann Khurrana, Kriti
Sanon and Rajkummar Rao starrer Bareilly Ki Barfi.

Mom, which also stars Akshaye Khanna, will now have a
solo Friday release, which is very difficult to get in today's times.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh announced the news via his Twitter account.

So now Ranbir, Saif and Shraddha, will clash at the box-office. Will anybody else opt out from the clash? Let’s wait and watch.
