Sooryavanshi: Akshay Kumar-Ranveer Singh-Ajay Devgn Announce New Release Date; To Have An All-Night-Long Screen Fest In Mumbai
WHOA! Sooryavanshi starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif to now release on the evening March 24, 2020, and it will be screened 24x7 following Aditya Thackeray’s new initiative of having the theaters and malls open all night long
Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi, starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif, is among one of the most awaited cop films of 2020. The fact that it will also see glimpses of Ranveer Singh and Simmba and Ajay Devgn and Singham, makes fans a lot more excited. Well, earlier, the film was scheduled to hit the big screens on Eid; however, the makers have now preponed its date and it’s going to release much earlier on March 24 i.e., a month later from now, that too in the evening. Yes, you read that right!
A special promo featuring Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh and Akshay Kumar has hit the web and it sees the trio from Rohit Shetty’s cop universe coming together to unveil the new release date in style. Interestingly, Sooryavanshi will also be the first Bollywood film to be screened 24/7 as Aditya Thackeray’s recent initiative of turning Mumbai 24x7 will go on effect from that date. “Ain't no time for crime 'coz Aa Rahi Hai Police! #Sooryavanshi releasing worldwide on 24th March. #SooryavanshiOn24thMarch Trailer out on 2nd March 2020,” read Ranveer’s caption.
The Tourism and Environment Minister of Maharashtra, Aditya Thackeray, in an interview with DNA, said, "I’m glad that Akshay Kumar and Rohit Shetty are launching Sooryavanshi on the evening of March 24. A hard-working city deserves more hours to chill and unwind. That’s exactly our aim. Theatres running 24 hours will hopefully be a big boost to the industry and people.”
