Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan was one of the most anticipated films of the year, mainly because the film centers around a homosexual couple and sheds light on a topic that’s not much talked about in Bollywood. The romantic-comedy also stars Jitendra Kumar, Neena Gupta, Gajraj Rao, Maanvi Gagroo, and the film released this Friday, receiving overall positive reviews. Netizens called it a must watch film and loved Ayushmann and Jitendra Kumar’s performances. Even a few celebs have been tweeting about it. Now, joining that list is the President of the United States, Donald Trump, who has now reacted to the film.

Looks like Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan has a far and wide reach. American President Donald Trump lauded Ayushmann Khurrana’s film and thought it was great! It so happened, that human rights campaigner and LGBTQ+ activist Peter Tatchell took to his Twitter and wrote, “India: A new #Bollywood rom-com featuring a gay romance is hoping to win over older people, following the decriminalisation of homosexuality. Hurrah!” Donal Trump replied ‘Great!’

Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavhdhan, starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Jitendra Kumar, has been written and directed by debutant Hitesh Kewalya. The film released on February 21, 2020. The film fared well on its first day at the box-office and collected Rs. 9.55 crore on Friday.
