Kapoor family shared the sad news of Ritu Nanda, Rishi Kapoor's sister and also Shweta Bachchan Nanda's mother-in-laws's demise, this morning. Riddhima Kapoor took to Instagram to share the news of her bua's demise. She was 71.
After the news of Ritu Nanda's demise, Shah Rukh Khan's wife Gauri Khan, who was throwing a party for her friends, Maheep Kapoor, Neelam Kothari Soni, Bhavana Panday and Seema Khan and their new show for Dharmatic Entertainment, has called off the celebration. The bash was being organised at Gauri Khan designs, Juhu.
It is being reported that Ritu Nanda was suffering from Cancer. Bollywood celebs will reportedly be flying down today to Delhi to attend her funeral. Sharing the news of her bua Ritu Nanda’s demise, Riddhima wrote, “To the kindest most gentle person I‘ve ever met - They don’t make them like you anymore - RIP bua #missyoualways.” Ekta Kapoor commented on Riddhima’s post said, “Heart felt condolences."
Amitabh Bachchan wrote on his blog, "My 'samdhan' Ritu Nanda, Shweta's Mother in Law passed away suddenly at 1.15 Am .. cannot communicate .. travelling."
