Rishi Kapoor, who left for his heavenly abode this morning, last shot for Sharmaji Namkeen. The film is complete except for its final schedule which had very few scenes of Rishi. However, the makers will have to find a logical conclusion to his character in the film and it's not going to be an easy job as Rishi plays the title role.
The latest on our EXCLUSIVE front is that we have found out what Rishi last faced the camera for. It was a scene with Juhi Chawla for this same film. The scene has both of them in the car and is a very integral part of the story. It was shot on the roads of Delhi. Sharmaji Namkeen is a very special film. It not only has Rishi and Juhi together but as fate had it, has also turned out to be Rishi's last film. Rishi and Juhi acted in several films together- Daraar, Bol Radha Bol, Ghar Ki Izzat and Eena Meena Deega among others. Rishi and Juhi had amazing on-screen chemistry. Sharmaji Namkeen, produced by Excel Entertainment and Honey Trehan, has Hitesh Trivedi holding the directorial reins. The film has been co-written by Hitesh and Supratik Sen. Some of Supratik's notable works include Kai Po Che and Kaminey.
