It’s Deepika Padukone’s birthday today and the actress was spotted in the wee hours of the morning with hubby Ranveer Singh at the Mumbai airport. Celebrations began right there as Dippy cut a cake and we even brought you pictures of the same today.
Well now, we bring you something that’s slightly heartbreaking. So, Ranveer Singh had a kickass surprise planned for his wifey but it didn’t materialize. The actor had planned to invest in a sea-facing apartment and book it on Deepika’s name; his special surprise for his ladylove on her birthday. But unfortunately, the deal fell through.
Our source states that Ranveer wanted the top most floor, but it went for sale even before he could book it. Sadly, his plan got foiled. Anyway, we are sure he would have made up for the loss by treating her to something special that we shall know soon.
Meanwhile, Deepika is leaving no stone unturned in ensuring she promotes her film Chhapaak to the fullest. Even on her birthday, the actress has been promoting the film. Dippy is in Lucknow ringing in her birthday with acid attack survivors. That’s really sweet!

Chhapaak is directed by Meghna Gulzar and also stars Vikrant Massey in a pivotal part. The film will be releasing on Jan 10, 2020.
Deepika will also be sharing screen space with hubby Ranveer Singh in Kabir Khan’s 83.
