Here's the latest update from the world of Bollywood. We bet you wouldn't want to miss this. Read on for details... No wonder he hadn't locked anything after Bajirao Mastani
On Yash Chopra's birth anniversary, Aditya Chopra announced that he is returning to direction with a film titled Befikre (Aditya Chopra returns to direction after 7 years, September 27).
SpotboyE has it that Ranveer Singh will play the male lead in the film. Rumour mills have been buzzing with several names, but the Band Baaja Baaraat actor has beaten them to the winning post.
And who will be the girl? Remember we told you that Aditya has told Vaani Kapoor of Shuddh Desi Romance fame to lie low for a while because he plans to cast her in one of the big films from his stable (Aditya makes Vaani Kapoor wait, September 18). If all goes well, Befikre it will be for Vaani.
Ranveer's ex-flame Anushka Sharma's name is also doing the rounds, but Vaani has put her nose in the front in the race.
All said and done, Ranveer has really made it big in Bollywood. We all know, Ranbir Kapoor was also in contention for the same role in Befikre, which Aditya has described as his "riskiest" and "youngest" project till date. Aditya last directed Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, which released in 2008.
