Priyanka Chopra, Sunny Leone and Katrina Kaif have surpassed Virat Kohli, Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan to become the Most Searched Celebrities on Google
Despite being a male-dominated industry, Priyanka Chopra and Sunny Leone have emerged as the Most Searched Celebrities on Google. The industry may be ruled by Khans but our Bollywood divas leave no stone unturned to rule the internet world. Be it Priyanka Chopra or Deepika Padukone or Sunny Leone or Kareena Kapoor Khan, our divas share pictures on social media and it becomes a top trend on Twitter. Bollywood actresses enjoy a huge fan following both on-screen and off-screen. With such humongous fan following, them surpassing Virat Kohli, Salman Khan and other top male celebrities come as a no big surprise.
According to a report in the SEMrush study, which analysed global data, the top three Indian celebrities who are most searched on the internet are Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Sunny Leone and Katrina Kaif. Yeah! What you heard is right! There’s no Khan in the top list of Most Searched Celebrities. The SEMrush report states that the desi girl was searched over 39 lakh times on Google, while the sexy Sunny was searched over 31 lakh times.
Between January and April 2020, Bharat actress was searched over 39 lakh times. Speaking about male celebrities, Salman Khan, Virat Kohli and Hrithik Roshan were most searched on Google. Salman was searched over 21 lakh times, followed by Virat over 20 lakh times and Hrithik over 13 lakh times.
Others who have also made it to the list are Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor and Disha Patani among others, while in most-searched male Indian celebs are MS Dhoni, Shah Rukh Khan, Tiger Shroff, Vijay Deverakonda, Mahesh Babu, Rohit Sharma, Allu Arjun.
