And now, the big news is after giving in his 100 percent as the supporting cast, Siddhant has finally bagged two big films- Bunty Aur Babli by YRF and Shakun Batra's next with Deepika Padukone and Ananya Panday.

We met with the actor recently and had brought to you our full chat with the talented actor, where he spoke about his aspirations, his struggles and more. One of the topics which we also touched upon was about his way ahead in the industry.

"I never expressed it, but I always wanted to be a hero, the protagonist, I found my way to this place, my little tunnel to get here, so from now on I want to only concentrate on my dream," said Siddhant. We concluded, 'Of playing lead roles?' and he agreed,  "Yes, will be looking for only lead roles now."

Meanwhile, he also spoke about how because of being an outsider, Siddhant didn’t have it easy in films. The actor said, “They thought I was very unconventional, with tiny eyes, curly hair, not the hero types. So, stereotyping is a thing in casting. They used to stereotype me to be from Delhi, Haryana. Nobody thought that I could be one from the streets, like I was in Gully Boy or I could be a boy from a rural village like I was in the Inside Edge.”
