Neena Gupta, who had once sought work through an Instagram post, is now on a roll! The Badhaai Ho actress has several interesting projects lined up. She will be seen in Kangana Ranaut starrer Panga, in which she plays the role of her mother. Neena Gupta also has Shubh Mangal Zyaada Saavdhan, which stars Ayushmann Khurrana. Her film Badhaai Ho had won many awards and she bagged the Filmfare Award for Best Actress for her role. Now, in a recent interview with Mumbai Mirror, the actress has opened up on having daughter Masaba Gupta out of wedlock.

Neena Gupta, who raised Masaba alone, said that given the chance to turn the clock back, she wouldn’t have a child outside marriage. She said, “I would not have a child outside marriage. Every child needs both parents. I was always honest with Masaba, so it did not affect our relationship, but I know she suffered.” Her daughter Masaba Gupta is a very popular designer and when asked about how her daughter helps her with fashion, she said that Masaba has helped her break some taboos. In other news, Neena Gupta starrer The Last Color made it to the list of feature films eligible for the 2019 Best Picture at the Academy Awards. The film was the directorial debut of Michelin starred chef Vikas Khanna, and both of them were elated that the film made it to the Oscars race.
