Amidst the border tensions between India and China in Ladakh, education reformer Sonam Wangchuk, who inspired the character of Rancho in Aamir Khan’s 3 Idiots has been trying his best to urge citizens in the country to stop the usage of Chinese products. Now, celebrities Arshad Warsi and Milind Soman have extended their support towards the ‘Boycott Chinese Products’ movement started by education reformer Sonam Wangchuk, by quitting the usage of hardware and software. While Arshad Warsi stops using Chinese goods, Milind Soman quits TikTok.

Taking to Twitter, Arshad Warsi tweeted, “I am consciously going to stop using everything that is Chinese. As they are a part of most of the things we use, it will take time but I know, one day I’ll be Chinese free. You should try it too ...” Looking at the tensions at the border between India and China in Ladakh in the wake of the pandemic, the Munna Bhai MBBS actor mentioned that he is consciously going to stop the usage of everything that is Chinese. He added that as they are a part of most of the things we use in the country, it will take time, but he is sure that one day he will be Chinese free.

Moving on, Milind Soman shared a video of Sonam Wangchuk, the education reformer who inspired the character of Rancho in Aamir Khan’s 3 Idiots and tweeted, “Am no longer on tiktok. #BoycottChineseProducts.” Extending his support towards the initiative started by Sonam Wangchuk of boycotting Chinese products, Milind Soman shared that he is no longer on the Chinese-based app TikTok. The model quit TikTok and uninstalled the app for good.



Talking about Sonam Wangchuk’s ‘Boycott Chinese Products’ movement, the education reformer has been creating a buzz on Twitter since days now with his video. Across the country, Wangchuk’s video has been creating an impact on people in terms of the usage of Chinese hardware and software, with many stopping it’s usage immediately. Meanwhile, as celebrities have also joined the cause, the initiative helps the country in fighting against the Chinese with wallet power rather than bullet power.
