Love Aaj Kal: Kartik Aaryan Starrer Has A Salman Khan Connection As Actor Calls Him His Other Half #Raghu
A while back, Kartik Aaryan posted a still from his upcoming film, Love Aaj Kal and it has definitely upped the excitement level of all Salman Khan fans. Kartik Aaryan introduced all to his other half, Salman Khan AKA #Raghu in the film.
Basking in the success of his last outing Pati, Patni Aur Woh opposite Ananya Panday, Bhumi Pednekar, Kartik seems to be doing all the right things to have become so popular in such a short time. Apart from Kartik, Love Aaj Kal also stars the Simmba actress, Sara Ali Khan, and both are set to unite for Imtiaz Ali’s upcoming film reprised version of his 2009 hit Love Aajkal that starred Deepika Padukone and Saif Ali Khan. A few days back, the makers of Love Aaj Kal shared the first rushes with fans and they couldn’t seem to get over it. While Kartik and Sara are being applauded for their unwind romance and acting chops, Imtiaz Ali is receiving wide appreciation for his direction.
But a while back, Kartik Aaryan showed that the film may have a Salman Khan connection. Sharing a still from the film, Kartik Aaryan captioned the picture, “Maine Bhi Pyaar Kiya Meet my other half #Raghu #Kal #1990 #LoveAajkal” Now the picture sees Kartik Aaryan striking a similar pose like Salman Khan. Kartik can be seen beside the poster of Salman Khan from Maine Pyar Kiya (1089). In the caption, Aaryan called Salman Radha and his other half. During a recent interview, when Imtiaz Ali was asked about Sara’s character Zoe, he mentioned that the character of Zoe is special to him. He further explained how she is an emotionally fragile modern-day girl who tries to protect her feelings by being hard on the outside. Speaking about Zoe’s character in Love Aaj Kal, Ali shared that she is conflicted between her heart and mind, between professional ambition and romantic surrender. The film Love Aaj Kal is slated to release in theatres on Valentine’s Day i.e. February 14, 2020.
