Today, Love Aaj Kal completed 11 years of its release, Meera AKA Deepika Padukone shared a throwback picture of herself with director Imtiaz Ali and got love from Alia Bhatt
Deepika Padukone and Saif Ali Khan starrer Love Aaj Kal released on July 31, 11 years ago and the film is still considered to be one of the best films by Imtiaz Ali. The film talked about the new age relationship and love and old school romance and somehow it managed to strike a chord with all the movie buffs. As the film completed eleven years of its release, Deepika Padukone, to mark this special day, took to her Instagram account and shared a throwback picture with the filmmaker Imtiaz Ali and she also received love and affection from Alia Bhatt who made a sweet comment under her post.
In the picture, Deepika and Ali are seen inside a metro train and while sharing the picture, Dippy captioned it as, "The eyes say it all... #Meera #11YearsOfLoveAajKal @imtiazaliofficial @maddockfilms @erosnow.” Commenting on this picture, Alia Bhatt who has worked with the filmmaker in Highway and considers Deepika Padukone her good friend, wrote, "best people" followed by a kiss emoticon. Apart from the Kalank actress, even fans were in love with the post as the comment section is filled with lovestruck and heart emoticons.

On the professional front, Deepika Padukone will be next seen in Kabir Khan's '83 where she will be essaying the role of Kapil Dev's (played by Ranveer Singh) wife Romi Bhatia.
