One of the top-grossing movies of 2019, ‘Kabir Singh’, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga turned a year old today. The film and its lead actress Kiara Advani couldn’t contain her excitement as she took to social media to post stills and a few unseen on-set pictures on a post on Instagram. The film was quite special for the cast and in fact, the entire team, so of course, it is a special day for them, as the film clocks one year.
Kiara Advani who played the role of Preeti in the superhit film, shared a post on Instagram and wished her onscreen partner Shahid Kapoor. The series of pictures included a few stills of Shahid and Kiara from the film, a fun, goofy selfie with the director Sandeep Reddy Vanga. One of the pictures in the post is from the celebrations which took place after the massive success of the film. Another boomerang video shows Kiara and Shahid winking at the camera.

The movie was not just one of the highest-grossing movies of the year but was also quite controversial. It was a massive hit at the box office but was also slammed widely for its controversial plot-line, especially by the critics. Many slammed the film for portraying and glorifying toxic masculinity. The opinion might’ve been divided about its story-line but that drew a lot of attention to the movie which eventually did very well.
