Kartik Aaryan is often at the end of severe trolling and massive criticism. Last time, it was for his monologue about marital rape in the film Pati Patni Aur Woh. Twitterati wasted absolutely no time in slamming him, the movie and the makers of the film for joking about marital rape. Now, a controversial statement by him has Twitterati fuming and lambasting him for the same. Kartik Aaryan is currently promoting his upcoming film Love Aaj Kal with Sara Ali Khan, and while talking to Radio City, he compared his films to Ayushmann Khurrana’s.

Kartik Aaryan said, “It often happens that Ayushmann does films about men with defects while I do films about women with defects.” Sara Ali Khan seemed genuinely confused as Kartik and the interviewers laughed at this. He then went to on to say that he has done films in the past like Pyaar Ka Punchnama and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. Sara then asked what the defect in her Love Aaj Kal character Zoe is, and Kartik quotes the song, “Haan Main Galat.”

He was slammed for his comment and while one Twitter user wrote, “can i punch him in the face,” another user commented, “you are clearly the only person with all the defects @TheAaryanKartikknee way stream ‘you need to calm down’ sweetie.”
