Jhagda Khatam: Pad Man Moves to Feb 9, Bhansali Requested Akshay To Compromise
Big news for Bollywood. The clash between Pad Man and Padmaavat has been called off as the makers of both the films have mutually decided to go solo...
A few moments ago, Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Viacom 18 met Team Pad Man
to resolve the war, which would have erupted on Jan 25 if both Padmaavat and Pad Man would have hit theatres
simultaneously.
Sources from Viacom 18 tell SpotboyE.com that Akshay Kumar graciously pulled
off Pad Man leaving Deepika-Ranveer-Shahid to enjoy a free run.
This has come as a big relief to distributors and exhibitors who were confused
as hell on how to divide the two bonanzas with equal display.

Better sense has prevailed. Kudos to Akshay Kumar, who had in fact announced
the release date of January 25 before Padmaavat
makers declared the same date for their film’s release.
Team Aiyaary which had smartly shifted its release date on Feb 9, finds itself in a tight spot as it will again clash with Pad Man.
