Jersey First Look: Shahid Kapoor Shares First Picture As He Begins Preps On His Upcoming Film
A while back, Shahid Kapoor took to social media and shared his first look from his upcoming project Jersey. The actor has begun prepping for the Hindi version of the Telugu hit film Jersey. Check out the picture below
Ever since the makers made the announcement of Shahid Kapoor’s next film Jersey, everyone is eagerly waiting to know more about the film and the actor. Basking in the success of Kabir Singh, Shahid Kapoor is back to enthrall his fans with yet another intriguing project. The Hindi version Telugu hit film Jersey will be directed by Gowtam Tinnanauri, who also helmed the original Telugu version starring Nani in the lead role. But it looks like, the actor has already dived deep into the prep of the film.
A while back, Shahid took to social media and shared his first picture as he begins to prep for the film. Talking about the same, Shahid told a section of media, “When contacted, Shahid says, "It took me some time to decide what to do next after Kabir Singh. But the minute I saw Jersey. I knew I wanted it to be my next. It is a wonderfully inspiring and personal human journey that I connected with deeply. " Going by the picture looks like Shahid has hit the ball straight out of the park! A source close to the film also revealed to a section of media, “Shahid plays a cricketer in Jersey and the perfectionist he is, he has already started learning the ropes of playing a cricketer on-screen by regularly going for the cricket sessions. The movie will be directed by Gowtam Tinnanauri who helmed the critically acclaimed and commercially successful original as well. Produced by Allu Aravind, Aman Gill, Dil Raju, the film is releasing on 28th August 2020.
