Angrezi Medium actor Irrfan Khan breathed his last today, on April 29, 2020. After battling neuroendocrine tumour for the past two years, the actor left for his heavenly abode. He was admitted to Kokilaben Hospital and had his wife and two sons by his side. The actor left behind a legacy that will always be cherished. As soon as the news of death made it to the internet, condolences started pouring in from all corners. Bollywood stars expressed grief and shock over his death. Hollywood director Colin Treverrow who helmed Jurassic World too mourned Irrfan Khan's death.

The Bollywood actor was a part of Jurassic World that released in 2015 which also featured Chris Pratt and others. As Colin Trevorrow worked with Irrfan Khan, he took to Twitter to mourn his death and write some kind words about the departed soul. Colin wrote, "Deeply sad to have lost #IrrfanKhan. A thoughtful man who found beauty in the world around him, even in pain. In our last correspondence, he asked me to remember “the wonderful aspects of our existence” in the darkest of days. Here he is, laughing."

American filmmaker Ava DuVernay too extended condolences on Irrfan Khan's death. She wrote, "A grateful fan of #IrrfanKhan here. Gone too soon. When he is on screen, you can’t take your eyes off of him. He lives on in his films." On Twitter, all his fans to our sending out their tributes to the late star.
