Hera Pheri 3 ON HOLD: Suniel Shetty Says 'Differences Need To Be Ironed Out First'
Actor Suniel Shetty revealed of some differences causing a roadblock in the making of Hera Pheri 3
Just the news of Hera Pheri makers planning to get the third installment of this comic caper on floors, has left the fans excited. In August 2019, Akshay Kumar too after much denial had confirmed of looking forward in taking this franchise ahead. However his co-star Suniel Shetty gave out some deets about this ventures still being on hold due to several differences which need attention and only then the makers can get going with the filming of the movie. So that is that real reason behind this sequel being on hold for so long.
Suniel Shetty in conversation with Mumbai Mirror revealed some differences are to be addressed. Also as the film and its second part still remains audience’s favourite when it is aired on TV, makers are planning to deliver a product par excellence. Not just TV audience, the movie scenes are also popular amongst the meme creators on the social networking platform. He said, “Everything is on hold for now. The film’s team intends to make Hera Pheri 3, but some differences need to be ironed out. The film is a big hit on television as well as in the meme world and we are all aware of the anticipation among the audience for the film.”
Suniel played Shyam in the film who comes to city of dreams, Mumbai to achieve something but instead lands in big trouble, taking the audience on roller coaster ride of laughter.
As Hera Pheri commented 20 years of its release Suniel in conversation with IMBD had revealed many deets about the film and his shooting experience. Suniel also mentioned of the trio- which included talented actor Paresh Rawal who played Baburao, of rehearsing and improvising their scenes during the breaks. “I don’t know how the film was made, it just happened. We arrived on the sets every morning, the costumes were basically just stretched and given to us, not even ironed. The director would ask us to sleep in the afternoon on paper, so we used to sleep on newspapers. He (Priyadarshan) said I don’t want you to be comfortable. When you get up, you should have rested, but stay uncomfortable. So, we wore no makeup, nothing. Filmmaker Indra Kumar who helmed this comic caper confirmed of the third installment to be high on VFX, he also expressed of being totally elated with the trio reuniting once again for the silver screen. The film is scheduled on floors by end of 2020. “So, it will definitely be bigger and better and involve heavy VFX. I’m expecting people to enjoy the film as much. I’m happy that the favourite trio is coming back together. We start the film towards the end of this year. It’s currently being scripted.”
