and Alia Bhatt’s break-up is the talk of town and ever since they have parted
ways, the duo has not come together for any project. Yesterday, we told you
that Sidharth refused to shoot for a soft drink commercial with Alia.

Now, we hear that
the two may not star together for the third instalment of Aashiqui. A source
close to the film says, “It is very unlikely that Sidharth and Alia will do
Aashiqui 3 together. Right now, the two are hardly on cordial terms, so there’s
no chance that the two will agree to romance on-screen.”
“Since Alia is the
in-house talent for Vishesh Films, -- and the venture she will definitely
feature in the film -- and it is quite obvious that Sidharth will get booted
out,” the source further mentioned.

Back then, it was
Hrithik’s name which was cropping up with Alia for the lead actor. However,
later Mohit Suri confirmed that Sidharth and Alia will share the screens for
the film. Talking to a leading daily, he had said that Alia will play the role
of a singer.

For a while now,
Vishesh Films have had a bad run at the box-office. Their ventures Begum Jaan,
Raaz Reboot, Mr X failed to impress the audiences. Vidya Balan starrer Begum
Jaan was critically acclaimed but did not set the cash registers ringing. So
actually, Sidharth and Alia was a casting coup for them. Alas!
Coming back to
Sidharth and Alia in Aashiqui 3, we are waiting for an official announcement
from the production house. The team in question still working on the script.
